How beta handles face photos.

A face scan app should be clear about what happens to photos. beta is designed so your photos are analyzed transiently and are not stored on beta servers.

During a scan

When you choose to run a scan, your photos are sent securely to our AI provider for analysis. That transfer is used to produce structured feedback: scores, dimension notes, and plan inputs.

What beta stores

beta stores account-linked app data such as scores, scan feedback, plan progress, coach context, subscription state, and diagnostics needed to operate the service. Face photos are not stored on beta servers.

What syncs to your account

Your scan result and dimension scores.
Your weekly plan and habit progress.
Coach context needed to answer based on your scan.
Purchase and entitlement status from Apple for paid features.

Deleting your account

You can request account deletion from Settings inside the app. For account or data questions, email support@beta.fit. The full policy is available at beta.fit/privacy.
