What beta collects
beta stores your account details, Sign in with Apple identifiers, Apple sign-in tokens used for account access and deletion, onboarding goals, your scan scores and sub-scores, your generated plan and habit progress, coach messages, learn-guide progress, and notification device tokens.
Face scans stay on your device
Your face photos are saved only on your device. When you run a scan, the selected photo is sent transiently to our AI provider for analysis and is never stored on our servers. Only the structured results (scores, suggested fixes, and feedback) sync to your account when you are signed in. Scan output is self-improvement guidance, not identity, health, or attractiveness determination.
Coaching and progress data
Your scores, plan, habit check-offs, coach conversations, and learn progress are linked to your account and used only for app functionality. beta does not sell this data or use it for third-party tracking or advertising.
AI processing
beta uses Google Gemini, accessed through OpenRouter, to analyze scans and generate your plan and coaching replies. Photos are sent only for the moment of analysis and are not retained by beta. We do not ask AI systems to provide medical, diagnostic, or treatment advice.
Subscriptions
beta Pro purchases are processed through Apple in-app purchase. beta receives purchase and entitlement status to unlock paid features. Payment details are handled by Apple.
Diagnostics and analytics
beta may collect limited crash and error reports and product-interaction analytics, linked to your account when you are signed in, to keep the app stable and improve it. These reports are used only for app functionality, are never used for cross-app tracking or advertising, and do not include your photos or coach messages.
Retention and deletion
Deleting your account removes your profile, sessions, Apple sign-in token records, scan scores, plans, habit logs, coach messages, learn progress, and notification device tokens, except where limited records must be kept for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons. Photos already live only on your device and are removed when you delete them or the app.
